A rare and different one time only concert – featuring the RETURN of Ross James, in his first and only Marin county concert this year, joined by the indomitable Eric Krasno – this is going to be very special show, perhaps the best DHL backyard concert yet!!
Please join us the afternoon of Saturday the 26th (Thanksgiving Weekend).
The music will be up close, with a small audience, in a private backyard in Mill Valley.
Dress warm, but be prepared, this place is getting hot!

Ross James plays with The Terrapin Family Band, Phil Lesh and Friends, Scott Law & Ross James Cosmic Twang, Microwave Gelato, and soon in Jimi’s Dead. For many years Ross was a regular on all the stages at Terrapin Crossroads, with several of his own bands, from American Jubilee to Radio Galaxy, and of course Cosmic Twang, and sitting in with countless other bands and TxR all-star combos, including John Mayer, Bob Weir, Neal Casal, Nicki Bluhm, and many others. In 2017 he released his own album Freak Farm, with many of those players guesting! Ross relocated to and is now jamming mostly in Colorado, so this rare visit for Ross is his only Marin County appearance in 2022! A long time in the making, (or begging?), Deadheadland is so very happy to have RMFJ play a show for us! Finally!

Eric Krasno has fronted and played in many great bands, from Soulive to Lettuce, and debuting soon, Jimi’s Dead. Krasno is a powerful guitar talent known from Oteil and Friends, Terrapin Family Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band and recently stealing faces and melting minds with Phil Lesh and Friends during the Phil-o-Ween run at The Cap! Kraz has made a few of his own records too, his most recent release is “Always” and is available everywhere. Thrilled to have him join Ross for this very special DHL concert event!

This is a backyard concert, at a private residence in Mill Valley CA
– exact address will be provided to ticketholders 48 hours prior to event*
BYO Beverages, snacks, etc. Seating will be provided. Warm clothes recommended. This is an early show, and will be ending in time for folks who are attending other shows later that evening (we recommend Jason Crosby at the Sweetwater!)
